Amin Tashakor earned his BSc in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Zanjan University (2011). He did his MSc in Biochemistry at TMU (2013). He worked as a research assistant at Tehran University for two years before starting his PhD. He was then awarded a PhD scholarship (Cancer Care West) in Pharmacology and Therapeutic at National University of Ireland Galway. He earned his PhD in 2019 for a thesis entitled: “Split luciferase reporters of apoptosome formation: a bio-tool to identify new drug-like molecules”. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at RCSI.
