Preston lab alumna Eimear Gleeson (second from right) has received one of the 2018 JTH Editors’ Awards at the ISTH SSC held here in Dublin. The award is given to the first author under age 36 (at the time of submission) for the best publications in JTH that year, with approximately five awards being given each year. It is selected by committee and is a travel award to attend ISTH. This is the second year the travel prize is being offered by JTH and they hope to continue it annually. She is receiving the award for the article entitled “A novel protein C-factor VII chimera provides new insights into the structural requirements for cytoprotective protease-activated receptor 1 signaling.” Congratulations Eimear!
