In July, the entire lab attended the International Society of Thrombosis and Hemostasis Congress in Berlin, Germany. This five day conference is the largest international conference in the field of thrombosis and haemostasis.
Orla Willis Fox, from our lab, who also received received an ISTH Young Investigator Award, presented an oral communication entitled “Inhibition of Activated Protein C Aspartyl Beta-hydroxylation Restricts Anticoagulant Function but Enhances Cytoprotective Signalling Activity.”
Additionally, Aisling Rehill and Erin Soule participated in the 5k charity run in support of World Thrombosis Day. The lab had a great time at ISTH and learned a lot!
